I love staying in this quiet place. Other guests are friendly. The area is beautiful...and the breakfast is amazing. We stay here twice a year. Update:. It's still great.
The lovely view is of tall, beautiful trees and a peek at the mountains from your private, sit-out balcony. I stayed in Room 204 Kirk Apartments which was very spacious and clean, and included a living room area. I’d definitely come back and stay longer to make use of the well equipped kitchenette. The temps were cooler at night, and I found these new, fuzzy blankets in the closet to snuggle under. You need to know this quiet inn is literally perched on a hillside without elevators, so plan room location according to ability. To the 1st floor rooms, you can easily roll a suitcase.
Octobers - Spring Valley Presbyterian from Columbia SC has been celebrating Autumn brilliance here since 1978 (including 2020!) The porch, the cozy fireplace, quirky paths around Brearly & Kirk, the breakfast kitchen - all combine for a tradition that inspires generations to continue to bring new children as they come along. Thank you, Lord, for the wonder of your creation!
Comfortable accommodations with full service kitchen with plenty of utensils, dishes, appliances, and grill; and a convenient dining area. Loved the Inn's living areas with comfortable loungers, couches, and chairs, and air conditioning. The porch with rocking chairs and internet access were a plus. It was a relaxing weeklong experience.
Our church stayed in October 2020. The Inn did an amazing job at keeping things clean and safe during the pandemic. Emily and Jenny did a great job making things feel normal while organizing several COVID-protective measures. They provided hot breakfast - served behind screens. The Inn was in great shape. New bathroom protocols assigned by families. Everything was perfect.
The apartments are a great value. Very clean. Love the location and nearby hiking trails. I would stay again.
We arrive on December 25 at night, we had a problem and Emily and her team solve the problem very fast. Kind people, clean room, everything you need in the kitchen is available, beautiful location and view, place to relax... WONDERFUL!!!
I believe they have the best breakfast in town. The place is also convenient, especially if you are coming for the Montreat Music Conference. The rooms are spacious and majestic; perfect for relaxing, meditation or serenity scoring
